Race Recap: 2019 WRL Peachtree Grand Prix

The World Racing League visited Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on July 13-14 for the classic Peachtree Grand Prix. Race Preview: 2019 The Peachtree Grand Prix

After what felt like a long break we're back on track this upcoming weekend at Road Atlanta. The World Racing League returns to the classic north Georgia based road course which is our home track. With thousands of laps between our driver lineup we are in good shape to be competitive throughout the weekend. Race Recap: 2018 SCCA American Road Race of Champions

The 2018 SCCA American Road Race of Champions marked my final visit to Road Atlanta for the 2018 season. I drove the Casey Carden Motorsports Mazda MX-5 in the ECR endurance race with MX-5 driver Assen Rachev. We took the T3 win in Sunday's race and finished third overall. Race Preview: American Road Race of Champions

This weekend we head back to Road Atlanta for the 2018 SCCA American Road Race of Champions weekend. I'll be driving one of the Casey Carden Motorsports Mazda MX-5 T3 cars in the ECR race on Sunday. My last ARRC weekend was in 2016 driving with Casey Carden where we won ITA in the ECR race. Race Recap: 2018 Classic Motorsports The Mitty

Well, the 2018 Classic Motorsports The Mitty is now past and won’t be remembered as one of the best weekends for us. Things started off Friday for us with practice and qualifying sessions. Next Event: The Mitty

My next event of 2018 is just a few weeks away (April 27-29) at Road Atlanta for the classic "The Mitty" historic sportscar weekend. I'll be racing a Mazda MX-5 with Casey Carden Motorsports in the WeatherTech Sprint Series and the B.R.M. Chronographes Endurance Challenge as well. This will be my fourth Mitty, my first being in 2015 in a Volkswagen Rabbit. We won our class numerous times and last year managed to get a second overall in Group 2 in the WeatherTech Sprint Series

Race Recap: 2018 AER @ Road Atlanta

Well the 2018 season has finally started! It wasn't a very long "off-season" but any time not behind the wheel of a race car is a boring time. Our season kicked off at Road Atlanta on February 17-18. It was round one of the AER (American Endurance Racing) series and after a successful 2017 season we were eager to pickup where we left off. Friday was a combination of practice and qualifying. Race Recap: SCCA July SARRC @ Road Atlanta

This past weekend I returned home to Road Atlanta to race in the double SCCA SARRC weekend which was also named the Hazel Harrell Memorial. I was driving the #78 Casey Carden Motorsports Mazda Miata in ITA over the weekend, the same car we have been racing in AER and WRL racing. The setup was the same minus running BFG R1s versus the usual BFG Rivals and we had to add quite a bit of weight to the car to meet ITA regulations. Next Event: SCCA July Fry Double SARRC @ Road Atlanta

My next race will be July 29-30 at Road Atlanta. I'll be driving one of the Casey Carden Motorsports Mazda Miatas again as I have been driving in AER and WRL with them. I'm excited to be back in a Miata at my home track and also in a sprint race format. We have two sprint races that weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Race Recap: The Mitty 2017

The 40th anniversary of "The Mitty" was a success. Friday morning was our first practice session and the goal was to just get a feel for the car since I had never driven it. Things went well and the car seemed good, I was within a few seconds of the Mazda3 I ran a few years back in the first session so that was a good start. The second practice was the same thing but with so much traffic (over 40 cars) it was hard to get a clean lap so I worked on just running wheel to wheel
