(continued) In 2015 I started racing in SCCA's H Production category in a Volkswagen. We also ran the car in the HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing) "The Mitty" at Road Atlanta where we won our class in all three races. We were competitive all season with the VW and won the 2015 American Road Race of Champions.
In 2016 I continued driving the Volkswagen, kicking off the season with a podium finish at the SCCA U.S. Majors Tour round at Road Atlanta. We ran The Mitty again and finished second and third. In July we had an engine failure which put the VW out for the remainder of the season. I drove with Casey Carden Motorsports at the 2016 American Road Race of Champions in an ITA Mazda Miata. We won the 3-Hour ECR endurance race. I also drove a Honda Fit B-Spec car prepared by Dynasty Racing at Sebring International Raceway where I won by default but my highlight was setting lap times even with the seasoned veterans in the class.
In 2017 I drove in numerous racing events. I drove with Casey Carden Motorsports in SCCA, American Endurance Racing Series, and World Racing League events. I also raced The Mitty in a Mazda3 under the Tibbett Racing banner. My highlight of the year was making my international series debut in the FIA sanctioned Creventic 24H Series in the Sorg Rennsport BMW. I finished the year with three wins, five second-place finishes, and three third-place finishes.
In 2018 I continued driving club events with Casey Carden Motorsports in the World Racing League, SCCA, and HSR. We won the championship in class in WRL and had many wins throughout the season. Once again I also joined Sorg Rennsport in the 24H Series at the 24H COTA USA where we placed second in the Cup 1 class for BMWs.
The 2019 season has started off well where I continued my career advancement with Sorg Rennsport and took part in the Dubai 24 Hours. We finished second in the highly competitive GT4 category in our BMW M4 GT4. We continued to Barcelona in the summer and once again finished second in GT4. This put us in a strong points position to win the 2019 Champion of the Continents championship in GT4 for drivers and team points. We raced the finale in Texas, USA in the fall of 2019 and finished second, taking the international championship title.
Outside of racing, I am earning my bachelor's degree in business management. I work as a racing and high-performance driving instructor in the southeast.
